That far of a cable run I would think of wireless, Cat5 looses signal over a distance like that.
Anyway, they have those sticky hooks, (see link), that you can use to run the wire, the video shows the fancy ones but they have others and they are not too expensive. No holes, no staples and can be removed easy.

Use a wire staple:

You will need one every 4 foot. They will cost you about 5-10 each a a building center.

A simple method for as much as 100ft would be to use small rawl bolts (drill a small hole, fit in a rawl bolt) and a good double-sided adhesive in between these rawl bolts. I would suggest about 6 rawl bolts for the entire length. This way the whole weight of the wire is taken by the bolts and the double-sided adhesive ensure the intermediate wire is held. The points at rawl bolts are so strong, you could also use any light hangings on them.

Go to Radio Shack, Home Dept or Lowes and tell them what you need — they’ll have a variety of cable clips, staples and fasteners that either screw to the surface, hammer in or peel-and-stick adhesive (though the stick-down might not work too great with that length of cable). If your basement ceiling is unfinished (i.e. exposed wooden joists) I’d use 1/2" steel one-hole cable straps attached to the joists with 1" Phillips drive screws using a battery op drill (if you have one.) That would be fast and bombproof. If the basement is finished and you want it to look better, get plastic Wiremold base and cover from the building center (you can get peel-and-stick or screw mount) and run the cable in that.
